Linzi has had speech and drama training with Trinity College and the New Zealand Speech Board (completed during secondary school).  She has extensive involvement in amateur theatre from a young age as a performer and creative participant.

She also has experience includes running community and youth drama clubs, teaching drama at Nathan Homestead Performing Arts School, and directing a number of small-scale amateur theatre productions.
